1. Hamilton
2. Braun
3. Adrian Gonzalez

I'd don't see anybody else joining the club.

I may be the lone ranger here but I just don't see Braun hitting 40 this season.
I believe Adrian Gonzalez has a hell of a shot at doing it, Gonzo is crushing the ball just about everytime he makes contact.
Playing in Texas I don't see how anyone could disagree with Hamilton.

Jason Bay could be a long shot if he keeps up his torrid pace.

The new entrees will be Gonzo and Hamilton

Utley is now at 20 homers at the 58-game mark. That puts him on-pace for something like 58 ...

Adrian Gonzalez has a shot, but it's crazy to think how many homeruns he could put up if he played in more hitter friendly park.

I think Adrian and Josh can do it and I hope so because they're both in my money league along with Berkman.

Thats what I am thinking.

On a side note; it's funny that there are only one or two posts in this thread about chase utley.

At this point, it's pretty much like saying the sun will rise in the east tomorrow.
Barring some unforeseen calamity, Utley's going to hit 40.

Now at 21. I think the question has become "Will Utley hit 40 homers by the All-Star Break?"

If it weren't for the fact that 2B is suddenly top-heavy with Phillips, Upton, Kinsler and Uggla all performing so well, we might start to discuss whether Chase Utley is going to be the consensus No. 1 pick next year.
