While I would not call him a DUD, I read that his shoulder is still only 80%. I would draft him assuming numbers close to what Bernie Williams put up last year- .280 ave., 20 HR's, and about 80 RBI's.
I agree on the "neither stud NOR dud" comment. I don't think the Padres are completely sure whether Klesko will be entrenched in either left or right field for now, but the important thing to keep in mind is that the injured shoulder, though at 80%, is not associated with his throwing arm.
Hopefully the 20% part of the healing process doesn't hamper his swing at the plate as well.
I simply think that Ryan Klesko is overrated nowadays.. his last big year was 2001 but other than that he's more of a name brand and less of a stat producer
