Is Carlos Guillen going on the DL? WHIR

Just read an article on Rotoworld that Guillen has a bad case of hemroids. Leyland said that they will have to be lanced. I have no idea what that is. Is it something that can sideline him for awhile? Earlier in the year Kaz Matsui had something similar I think and he was out for awhile. What I don't understand is that he was the DH last night so it may not be as bad. Anyone has any thoughts?

He's been playing through the pain for about a week now, during which he has hit 2 homers and has gone 10 for 31, good for a .323 BA. Most likely he'll shift to DH for a few games while getting his treatment (which is irrelevant, fantasy-wise, other than it will give his hitting a slight boost since he won't have to maneuver the field like that), and he might miss 1-2 games at the worst. Hemorrhoids aren't as bad as an anal fissure.

If he does go down, I'll have lost two guys to anal trauma. (Guillen and Mastui)

Regardless, I've become too familiar with these individuals' rectums than I care to be.

He's not literally on the DL yet, right? I see that he's a scratch tonite but I haven't seen confirmation that he's on the DL yet. ...
