i am sitting in 3rd place, dead last in avg and ops, .259 and .768, respectively. this is thanks to weeks, sizemore struggling, hawpe, tulo (when he was playing), johjima (now dropped), and even longoria's rather low avg. simply moving to the middle of the pack in these 2 cats would put me solidly in 2nd place, way ahead of the rest of the league but still behind the leader.

i just traded for hanley, who should help me out, and picked up laroche, expecting another 2nd half surge. will helton get his avg back up to career norms? are there possible FA who will who will contribute big in avg? will weeks forever hover around the mendoza line, or will his babip move to a more normal number? stay tuned to find out
