May 27 Sandy Burgin, of MLB.com, reports San Diego Padres SP Jake Peavy (elbow) threw 40 pitches on flat ground and took batting practice Tuesday, May 27. Peavy said he felt fine and hopes to be back on the mound as soon as possible.

I like watching dominant pitching so I'm glad it doesn't seem to be serious...even if he isn't on any of my fantasy teams. :-C

After he pulled out of a practice session I was anticipating it being game over for the year. :~(
So this is a nice surprise.
