He averaged less than 6 IP per start, so I don't think he was over-used. And the difference between his home/road stats is like night and day. Word on the street is that Seattle has made adjustments to the park and it is not as much of a pitchers park as it was the past few seasons. Something about the backdrop in CF making pitches easier to see.
I'd be worried about having him, personally. He was absolutely horrible on the road and in the second half. If Safeco does indeed revert to a more neutral park, he could be in trouble. Add the injury concern, and the fact that he couldn't even throw 6 IP per start without fatigueing, and you have one more headache that I'm going to avoid.
