What is the deal with this guy.He looks enormous. He is very young,he can't field nor run which in itself is a joke.OK the BIG question is what about his bat.Where are the big numbers? Are they coming or is this the best we will see being he signed that big contract. What do you guys forsee this season ?

Who will put up better #'s from here on in MCAB or TEX ?

I am a believer that he is very due to break out. Part of the problem may be that they keep shifting the lineup around so much (he bats 5th, 4th, 4rd, etc.). Also, the position change may be accountable too.

He is too young and good to slump forever. It's like Howard ... I was very frustrated with him and then he starts lighting it up. I think MCab needs to get more aggressive at the plate, because he is hitting, just not stringing the Xtra base hits and multi-hit games together.

See his career numbers.... He's in a slump. And your not alone in your suffering brother. Peace.

MCab will be fine, he's a young stud adjusting to a new position, a new league, new team, and a new spot in the line-up almost every couple of nights.

My honest projection is he ends up with 110 runs, 35 HR, 125 RBI, .325 avg.

For people who are saying he's had to adjust to a new spot in the lineup a lot, I can only honestly recall only ONE game where Miggy has not batted 5th, and that was when he was 3, which is where I believe he should be. Leyland has him consistently behind Mags batting the 5 spot.

He'll be fine. MCab has consistently hit 100+ RBI, 25-30+ HR's for the past 4 seasons. Early on this season he was injured and then switched to the other side of the infield. I believe (or at least hope) that as he begins to feel more comfortable with his new team and position his bat will come around as well. I don't know if it will matter too much whether he hits 4th, 5th or 3rd... id rather see him hit 3rd or ideally 4th but I don't think it matters too much with that lineup.
