i just traded him and prince for hanley. the odds of him being braun 2.0 are slight, especially with his high K numbers, but he should be very solid. heres hoping i didnt make a terrible mistake :-o

A walk. Considerign his high K:BB rate, that's a good sign.

You beat me to it. A four pitch walk is a great omen.

I won't predict this year, who knows what will happen. And I'm just being silly worrying about one AB. (talk about ultimate small sample size! :-b ) But if some how he does cut down the Ks, take more walks, he could have an elite career.
There are a few things with the New York Yankees that never change. That's pride, tradition, and most of all, we have the greatest fans in the world. -Derek Jeter, 9/21/08 -- last words from old Yankee Stadium

I sat Damon and started Bruce at the last moment. Damon hit a 3 run homer. I'll take the steal as a down payment on him making it up to me.

according to SI:
The Reds promoted the 21-year-old outfielder from Triple-A Louisville and designated first baseman Scott Hatteberg for assignment, ending his three-year stay in Cincinnati. The Reds picked up Hatteberg's $1.85 million contract option last October, when they weren't sure whether Joey Votto would be ready to take over at first base.

Doesn't really clear space for him in the outfield but I think he will get consistent playing time regardless.

Are you really worried about droping Swisher :-?

Anyway, I'm buying into all the hype. It's just fun to do so. Can't remeber the last time I was this happy to hear a player get called up. Watching my stat tracker like a stalker 8-o A BB, SB and hit already. ;-D
