You gotta love it, from
http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/06/ ... ple-sizes/Yet, a start that included 16 hits in 30 at-bats is an attention grabber, no matter what the expectation.
Asked to explain his Red-hot start, Bruce said simply "Sample size."
There are a few things with the New York Yankees that never change. That's pride, tradition, and most of all, we have the greatest fans in the world. -Derek Jeter, 9/21/08 -- last words from old Yankee Stadium

Glad to see Bruce's average back up to .400. He had me worried for a second there.

Bruce leading off is absolutely moronic, but I'm not surprised considering who their coach is .

I just can't wrap my mind around their lineup. When DB said he'd bat Phillips cleanup, I just scratched my head. But Bruce in the leadoff spot make me want to put my head through a wall. he's been very uncomfortable in the 1-hole...

13Ks
He's a stud for sure but I'm not so sure how often he'll be in starting lineups from this point forward. I just hope I can cash him in while I still can...
His stats so far on the season are right in line with Braun's from last year up to this point. (75AB)

On his only day off so far, Dusty actually apologized to the fans who came to see him play. That is pretty clear evidence to me that he is the everyday starter no matter what.
