with 2 outs and after jut giving up a base hit to brynes he gets pulled? did he get hurt or something? Doghouse?

He hadn't been doing so hot. Managers want to give their guy a shot to win, but not at the expense of risking a crooked-number inning. From what I could tell there was no confidence.

Seems kind of weird since he gave up the homer, got two outs, gave up a single, but would have been pitching to the bottom of the order.
I guess tying run was up to bat, so Cox said to himself, "no way we're losing a game where Webb is pitching if we have the chance to win."

I think he made the right decision, Jurrjens was right around 95 pitches. Guys who have struggled all day don't generally get better when they get deep into their pitch count, and he was only in the 5th inning. He wasn't terrible today, but this was one of those situations where you can go to your bullpen and get a key out with a situational matchup.

That's it exactly.
As a Jurrjens owner I wasn't happy with the decision but the main consideration for Cox is winning the game. Jurrjens didn't have it today and really didn't deserve the win. Cox played the odds and went to his pen and it proved to be the correct thing to do.
