Wakey wakey, Mr Sheff...

Postby Inukchuk » Sun May 25, 2008 9:02 am

Over the past 3 or 4 games, his swing has looked a lot better and his numbers are beginning to warm up. If he has the potential to break out this year, now might be the time. I'm sure he can be had very cheaply, so if you have the room, it might be a good time to take a flier on him just to see what happens over the next few weeks...

So you hung onto him for a month and a half while he was horrible. He goes on a 9-23 run, then you drop him? Seems kinda backwards...

He's old and washed up IMO .... BUT ol man Leyland will never give up on him even if he goes 0fer his next 100. Jimmy is going senile and has lost any control with his team.

Actually he had been floating around in the waiver "pool" for about a week and a half or so....
....I came home wasted on Saturday night and picked him up.
Sunday morning, I quickly came to my senses and made the right transaction.
He's no better than a 5th outfielder right now.

Go Pens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
