He is on waivers in my league. I have the #2 waiver spot.

If the #1 guy takes him, is there anyone else to look forward to later on?

On waivers... I only have the #8 priority, but I'm putting in a claim (dropping Hafner) for him.

We'll see. I'm not all that confident, especially if he goes off today.

i don't need him, as myu team is dominant., But still...:(

Join the f-in club man. Could have really used him, especially in a K/9 league.

Unbelievable. There is just no logic whatsoever to the adding of players to the Yahoo database. What irritates me is that they claim there is a logical process. What a load of crap..

I believe, and Genie can clarify, they add when their stats provider adds; so it's really not up to them.

I explained countless times that players should appear when they are on a major league roster. He was added to the major league roster yesterday, and appeared in the game today. Exactly as I've described. If you want to believe there is no process, feel free, but no matter how much people say they want consistency, when we follow the stated rule, people always cry foul.

I do understand the rule, but I don't agree with it as do a lot of other people around here. If we want to waste a roster spot on a guy like Kershaw while he's in the minors, why can't we? Even though I've been targeting him all season, a guy that didn't know who he was until yesterday will get him because they have a waiver priority. I just see no logical reasoning for not having the top prospects in the game(Cueto, Scherzer, Kershaw, etc) at the beginning of the season. If there is a logical explanation, I would really like to here it. Thank you Genie, if you answer my question or not, you are very helpful to these boards in numerous ways.

I like the in season additions, as do many others. I think it would be pretty stupid to have every minor league player in the data base.

Yahoo! used to get blistered for their lack of informative articles - now they get ripped for having informative articles.

People are going to whine whatever Yahoo! does. They could pay you to play fantyasy games there and you people would still whine.
