I say no..We are pretty much at the 1/3 way of the season a see a very 24 HR, 78 RBI, .263 Ave season for him..I predict Corey Hart will have more HR's, RBI's and a better Ave than Prince at the end of 08'..Honest!
He's at 10% HR/FB, compared to 23% last year and 15%+ the last few years. If it was right, he'd be at 9 homers now, which is nothing special but pretty solid (pacing for about 30). He could also improve by reducing his GB%, 43% this year vs. 35% last season.
I expect his power to show up in a big way pretty soon, and I see him finishing in the 30-35 range.
I think Absolutely no way he sniff's 35 HR, that is way out of his range by now. He's hit 2 HR's in the whole month of May..Last year he hit 13.. Id be surprised to see him hit 30 HR's this year. I looked at his 06' Number with 569 AB's and I feel he will finish right below them
06'.... 28 HR's, 81 RBI, .270 Ave --- These numbers are Prince Fielder type numbers

If he has 17 Hr's by AS break, he's have to go on a tear right now..
I think it's still way too early to consider 40 a laugher considering his potential. The best his owners can hope for, though, is that he's the 2008 NL version of 05/06 Mark Teixeira. I'm not so sure he isn't.
Is freeling prideful the same guy who was giving off all those mumbo jumbo facts in the Swisher thread? That Nick was soon to be on a tear? GB x FB/ s to the 4th power divided by pie plus the waist band width of Princes trousers equals he will be lucky to put up his rookie numbers. Watch the games and you will see that he has no clue what he is doing at the plate. All the equations in the world wont make any difference.
I'm really kicking myself for drafting him. What's happening with him makes absolutely no sense. I keep thinking of who I can get for him in trade and the answer is 'no one'. All I can do at this point is stare at 0-5, 0-4, 0-5, 1-4 every single day - it's pretty depressing.
He still looks the same, but he's really not the same guy....
