How am I looking after a big trade?

Postby hambone1818 » Sat May 24, 2008 10:23 am

I just traded Brandon Phillips for Miguel Cabrera...I was actually pretty torn about the trade, but in the end I got the younger player (in a keeper league) and a guy who's had 4 straight great years. Here's the squad

10 team, h-2-h, 7 keepers, 5x5

C C. Iannetta
1B R. Howard
2B C Figgins
3B M. Cabrera
SS M. Young
OF J. Hamilton
OF M. Ramirez
OF G. Sizemore
UTIL V. Guerrero
BEN J. Upton
DL H. Blalock

SP J. Beckett
SP C. Hamels
RP F. Rodriguez
RP J. Soria
P S. Marcum
P T. Lilly
BEN R. Johnson
BEN J. Chamberlain
BEN D. McGowan

So: how does the team look after the trade? Am I short on SB, or anything else for that matter? I think I'm pretty well set across the board but my I'm slightly worried about the stolen bases. Thanks guys!

Don't even sweat that trade. You came out ahead and it ain't even close. Coming into this season some people including me were not convinced with Phillips especially where he was being drafted. Cabrera has proven himself. He is off to a slow start by his standards but that will straighten itself out. I think some of that has to do with him switching leagues and the Tigers struggling. He will turn things around. Awesome team. Please help me out
