Ouch. Whoever you traded with was prescient - I don't see Soto cooling off enough to let V-Mart catch him.

I'm not so sure that Victor, even at full potential, is an upgrade over Soto. Soto looks like he could take the best catcher crown for the next decade...he's a complete hitter (like Victor) but with more power...

I took Victor with a high draft pick last year and it paid off, but when the same opportunity presented itself this time around I passed. Everyone in my league was high on Victor and down on McCann and didn't think anything of Soto. That being said, Victor has been very consistently good over the past few years and I can guarantee he will get it going eventually and start hitting for more power. The problem is, there are several guys out there who have the potential to be better than him even if he's playing like he should...
