As per CBS:
Victor Martinez, C CLE
News: Indians catcher Victor Martinez left Thursday's game against the Chicago White Sox with a left index finger injury. Martinez popped out to start the fourth and was replaced by Kelly Shoppach in the bottom of the inning. The Indians catcher, who has yet to hit a homer this season in 140 at-bats, angrily kicked a bucket of sunflower seeds in the dugout after an at-bat Wednesday night and got his foot stuck. The tantrum, which was caught by television cameras, was the talk of the Indians clubhouse Thursday.
Analysis: Clearly, the frustrations are mounting for Martinez, who has shown nothing of a power swing in 2008. His season started on the wrong foot as he had to leave the opener with an injury, and the fact he has just 15 RBI isn't sitting well with him or Fantasy owners. Martinez is still an elite Fantasy option at a thin position based on potential, but we would sure like it if he would start hitting homers in the near future. Consider V-Mart day to day.
