Almost June & still no clue of what to do (WHIR)

This year I think I have a solid team but I am dead last with 42 stinkin' points and just getting worried becasue June 1 is the time I usually get everything squared away as to needs and all.

What would you do with this team?

I just used my #5 waiver to get Konerko becasue no way he should be dropped this early and I think his power makes some nice trade bait later on.

I wouldnt panic just yet - your team looks pretty good - Verlander will rebound - he is a great buy low candidate. I also expect Ryan Howard to pick up as well. Furcal should be back soon...you just have some underachievers on your team that you have to hope start heating up. You still have 75% of the season left...

Knoerko is garbage - he has declined each of the last few years. I suspect he'll hover around that .220 average all year, maybe hit 20 homers but that's it.

You've got a lot of under performers right now on your pitching staff and offense. Howard has finally awoken along with hart, but Beltran still isn't consistent. On the pitching side I can see why you'd be last there, every starter on your team has started off horribly. Harang is putting up solid numbers but his offense isn't helping him at all and the rest of the guys in Bedard, Verlander, Bonderman, Snell, and Lowe are just stinking it up right now. You just need to sit and see if these guys can turn it around because if they don't there's not much you can do when an entire staff is having an off year. Your offense should be coming around, but that pitching staff is worrisome right now if they can't get it together. Snell had posted two solid starts in a row, so that's a good sign. When you've got about 14 wins between 6 starters this late in the season you won't be winning a lot of pitching categories.

I am up to fifth place.

I have since dropped Snell and Lowe and I am inserting matchup pitchers heac week.

I also dropped Bondy for Danks.

I still think wins might be the easiest thing to make up late in the year, as long as you are not dead last in ERA & WHIP.
