To all you seasoned commisioners out there......what is the difference between an ordinary keeper league and a dynasty league?
I always thought they were pretty much synonymous, but I read something the other day that suggested otherwise. However, the post didn't explain the difference.
Thanks!

Keeper league = keep a small %age of your roster (3-6 players).
Dynasty league = keep your entire roster.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

Dynasty keeps a lot more players then Keeper, plus there is no corresponding penalty for keeping premier players like their is with many keeper. Honestly though, they mean basically the same thing. I know people who say they are in a 20 player keeper, which is as many as my dynasty keeps.

I'm in what I consider a Dynasty league. As Matthias said in keeper leagues teams keep a small number of players. But in my dynasty league we don't keep our whole roster but 15 out of the 30 total roster spots. We also have a minor league system in which we get 5 free keepers and and can keep more by giving up picks in the following years minor league draft. Our minor league draft is 10 rounds.
