Is there a way to sort all of the free agents by guys on the DL? I've got Borowski in my DL slot and am looking for a guy to pick up and fill it before Joe Blow gets off the DL. This would be much easier to do if there was a way to sort free agents by DL, much like you can sort for Free Agents only, All players, Taken players, etc.

Don't think we currently have a way to do that, but it is a reasonable idea. I'll have to look and see if I could find a way to make that work.
I believe you can go to the "status changes" under the Players tab. There you can click on "Disabled List". You should see all the recent players who either went on or came off the DL. Now, this is only going to show who recently went on/off the DL, but at least its a start...
Always fun to do the old DL shuffle. Almost feels like your getting away with something even though it is legal. Did it with Rafael Soriano a while back, good idea at the time, but now smoltz is gonna close. Oh well, nothing lost, team has been healthy so far
I wish you could also make it so where you can replace a player on your DL with a different player on the DL instead of having to drop one of your bench players in the process.

Same here. I wanted to add John Smoltz to my empty DL slot, but in order to do so, I had to drop Jay Bruce to get him. Now I have an empty roster spot and I have to wait three days for Bruce to clear waivers (I hope) so I can re-add him. If there was any reason for this additional step -- either competitive or logistical -- I'd understand, but it seems utterly arbitrary and counterintuitive to me.

Nothing wrong with it, It's just a choice you have to make.
I'm annoyed by not being able to add a player directly to an open DL slot, but I think it's fine the way it is... it forces some strategy. The DL spot isn't meant to an extra bench spot, it's there simply to allow you to hold your injured players. Granted I pick up and stash DL'd free agents, but I have to time it with other drop/adds, and 2-for-1 trades, etc., etc. I don't mind doing that, since everyone else in my league has the same restriction.
EDIT: Look at it this way. You may not have even been able to get Smoltz if someone else hadn't been trying decide who to drop as well, and either decided not to do it, or hesitated longer than you did for the very same reason you don't like the restriction.
