who are the yanks using as the go to set up for rivera...
im reading alot on gordon to be it but see a lot on quantrill as well...
also who are your top 5 for this year...the santana's and mota's...

Gordon will be the main setup for Mariano. Quantrill is talented, but the Yanks love Gordon too much. If Soriano was to go down for any reason, I'd assume that Gordon would get the bulk of the save ops.
I don't have a list for you, but keep the name "Jerome Williams" in the back of your mind. If you can get him cheap, go for it. Over a full season, I think he'll be pretty amazing.

The front office likes Gordon a lot. But it will all come down to how Torre instinctively feels about either one by the end of April. He will use them both until one emerges consistently.
Keep an eye on the first Yank/Red Sox series in April. That’s where the real tryout will begin. Torre likes to immediately trot out the new guys to see how the do in a pressure situation.
