how would you rank the next tier of Relief Pitchers after the top5 studs?

I'm assuming your lists will include
Dotel
Guardado
Izzy
Percival
Hoffman
etc...

thanks

I think you have to take Rivera 2nd..... don't downgrade him.

Closers

Postby Playoffbound » Fri Feb 27, 2004 2:10 pm

Everybody is ranking Eddie Guardado as an elite closer, I am not sure he will get that many saves this year. He is in the set up role so he will get less opportunities.

Maybe I am way off but I have him downgraded a lot. Still a great pticher just in the right role to be considered one of the elite closers.

Percival should really be tier 5. I overlooked him. Hoffman's injury scares me.

Hasn't guardado got the seattle closer's job.

Is anyone else going to answer the question?

I can totally see Percy in the 4th tier. Rivera as 2nd overall, I think is a bit of a stretch.
