When Bernie recovers from his recent surgery, will he be back in the starting line up? Is this a good time to try and grab him for cheap or is he not worth even when he's in great shape? Where do you see him ranking amongst the other OF players in a 10 team h2h points based league?

i think its a good time to buy low everyone is worried about him losing his tarting job to lofton and i dont think torre will bounce him like that. he is still a good overall hitter who has lost some of his power but will be overlooked and i would take a flier on him in the late rounds.

I'm trying to decide between him or Dimitri Young right now... I think he'll be fine once he gets back from his surgery. I agree, I don't think Torre will know him out either.

I think he will be a decent bargain. He will be in the lineup one way or another. It will come down to him or Lee. I can’t see Torre sitting a switch hitter in favor of a defensive 1st baseman.

You have to give Dimitri the love if he's 3b eligible in your league. If not I would still go with him just based on the amount of ab's he's going to get over Williams.
