I know he's been mentioned, but I'm watching Masterson pitch right now and he's NASTY. He features the sinkerball, but he can get the fastball up to 92-93 and he throws a pretty good slider too. Granted, this is against the Royals, but that aside the action on his pitches is damn impressive. Makes me wonder if his recent AA struggles were based on his trying to work on his secondary pitches, because in both starts up with the big club, he's been dominant.
