My 2005 draft in my NL-only league.

Abreu - 1st round
D Lee - 6th round (the year he went nuts)
D. Wright - 9th round (his first full year)
J. Bay - 13th round (the year HE went nuts)

All four were first round picks the following year...needless to say I demolished the league that year.

Last year I flipped Sheffield for Hanley Ramirez.
Dominate is a verb. Dominant is an adjective.

Picking up Javy Lopez off the waiver wire at the beginning of 2003.

He went: 89-43-109-.328

Can you imagine getting that kind of production from a catcher today?

hmm... this year: getting hamilton at pick #172

last year: drafting Fielder at #90, Russ Martin at #230 and getting Braun/Lincecum/Gallardo/Tulo/Chris B Young since the league manager decided against waivers....

Last year I traded Nick Swisher and Troy Glaus for Matt Holliday and Carlos Lee. I'll never top that trade...

This year I traded Izzy for Josh Hamilton.

Mind you I traded Izzy while he was still closing but I had a feeling he'd suck.

There are 3 tied for the best move I've ever made.

1. Last May I traded D Lee and R Harden for Roy Halladay and D Wright. This was when Halladay had just had the appendectomy, (or whatever it was he had), and Harden was "about to come off the DL", and Wright was still in his early season slump!!

2. Last year I claimed R Braun off waivers in 2 leagues!! :-D Won 1 and finished #1 seed in other and lost in finals!! :-t

3. In 2004 I claimed B Sheets off waivers before the season started. Won that league as well!! :-D

I could go on and on, but those 3 were probably the best and had the biggest impacts on each season.

Best move I ever made was trading Brandon Lyon two weeks into the 2005? season (when he had like 10 saves in a week...) for Michael Young (the year HE went nuts)...

No.

Best move. Picking trading for Johan Santana when he was a reliever. Money.
