Is Chipper really batting 0.4103?
On pace to hit 42 HR and 123 RBI.
Best player in baseball not named Lance.

Ah the miracle of protection......

First time in forever he's had somebody decent bat behind him (and no I never considered Andruw Jones as protection).

As much as I hate him, the guy is unbelievable and would be in the Top 5 of the MVP voting every single year if he could play 140 games.

I've said this a few times before, but I would be shocked if more than 20% of fantasy owners knew that Chipper was the 11th ranked fantasy player last year - let alone top 50. It was probably one of the quietest, elite fantasy seasons I've seen in a long time.

Some guy had taken Chipper 21st overall in the 20-team fantasy forum challenge. So, he must've been a prophet. Funny thing was he was willing to trade him to me for Dan Haren. Given it's an absurdly deep league, but still...
