Roy Halladay made his first relief appearance since 2001 on Sunday and threw 2 1/3 scoreless innings against the Phillies.
Halladay volunteered to pitch after Shaun Marcum's day came to an early end because of a delay. The Jays will now likely push back his scheduled start from Tuesday to Wednesday or Thursday and pitch Marcum in his place.
Now he goes from a possible 2-start week, to just 1.
