Clayton Kershaw was pulled from his start for Double-A Jacksonville after just one inning on Thursday, suggesting that he's on his way to the majors.

MLB.com believes he could start Saturday, with Brad Penny being pushed back. They'd certainly be rushing the 20-year-old, but it's possible that it could work out, as long as they're willing to live with him as a five-inning starter.

i was there for his start tonight. His stuff is filthy. He was lifted after 1 IP. I expected to see him hop on a plane to LA afterwards. He simply doesn't belong in AA ball

I jumped at the news that Kershaw got pulled after 1 quality inning started last night with no injury. I'm glad my daughter woke me up at 2:30 am since I saw the news before the rest of my league.

He should be quality as his stuff is filthy... can't get the image of one of the batters from spring training just shaking his head & walking away from the plate after a devastating curve.
