Sheff is terrible! They could cut him and call up a retarded monkey and it would make their lineup better.

Dear Lord, I hope Sheff reads this. Angry Sheff = top-10 production.

they should just play Thames everyday over him at this point

supossedly Leyland and Dombrowski are meeting about the team today, so hopefully they decide a DL stint (or better yet DFA) is in Sheff's future. i think the other point of contention will be Willis or Galaraga

...and hopefully they will fire Chuck Hernandez

I am going to give Sheffield one more week before deciding on whether to drop him. Maybe I am stubborn but I thought he would have a decent season this year hitting in that lineup. Regardless, he has really good career numbers against the Seattle starters this upcoming series. I am hoping his health is good enough to post big numbers against the Seattle starters and carry that momentum into the Minnesota series. Then on to Anaheim where he hits Garland really well too. Go Sheff! ;-D

I have a funny feeling that the Tigers feel just as you do-give him one more week to snap out of it. If not, then, pack up your knifes and Go Sheff.

He did only bat .200 last year in April...just saying. Although he hasn't been good in May..so who knows.

I am disgusted every time I see Sheff trotting out to bat in the 3 hole and proceeds to make an out. Mags/Cabrera would have a lot more RBI opps.
