Kelly Johnson...his avg. against LHP is better!!!

Is there a reason why he has fallen in favor with the Braves? He sits game after game when they face left handed pitching, but when you look at the splits he is batting .279 against lefties and .277 against righties. He's even struck out less per ab against lefties. I just don't get why they rather start omar f*n infante over this guy. He had a semi breakout year last year, is young, and has performed when given the chance to play. Can anyone shed some light on this b.s. situation?

I'm a lifelong Braves fan and season ticket holder. Love everything about Cox except for one thing. He unfairly platoons young hitters if they show even remote trouble against pitchers who are righties or lefties. It is extremely annoying and he has virtually ruined some guys careers, e.g. Ryan Klesko, by doing it. Currently Diaz and Johnson, both top flight young hitters, are getting screwed over in this manner by Cox.
