Last year I dropped Bedard after his slow start. I was super-high on him coming out of spring training, but his bad April made me doubt my choice so I dumped him. Not a good decision!
I also grabbed Torii Hunter off of waivers last May but dumped him in favor of someone else because I didn't think he'd keep up his good season.
Thanks guys, you're making me feel better about trading Greinke and Maine for Oswalt. I'm not gonna lie, that's one of the main reasons I made this thread.

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Most of fantasy baseball is about being lucky. Like one topic states" You gotta be lucky to be good" At least you are willing to take a chance.
That one haunts me the most because I'd still have him today for chump change.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Ah yes, I remember the nightmarish Placido Polanco platoon system. Unfortunately early that year, I had no choice but to start Utley everyday as I didn't compensate well in drafting a 2B (I think I had to platoon him and Juan Uribe). I stuck with him and it really paid dividends.
