Dynasty league ???

Postby RiverRat » Fri Feb 27, 2004 12:30 am

Joined my 1st dynasty league(from post here) and discovered that their 29-man roster, nobody carried over any hot rooks!!!! They are just playing regular old fantasy baseball with 29 players. Is that normal for a 'd' league or did I just find a "winner"? Other leagues save a few spots for those special up-and-comers?
Thanks, just venting.

I think it depends on how many players you start. If you're using CIs, MIs, and so on and have a very small bench, I'd also concentrate on contributors at the big league level, reserving perhaps one or two spots for minor leaguers (maybe more if I were rebuilding).

If your bench is deep, on the other hand, then yes, I can think of quite a few promising minor leaguers I'd love to stash away. :-)
