David Price, out since the spring with a strained muscle near his elbow, fanned 10 over five innings in an extended spring training game Saturday morning.
Price even struck out Alex Rodriguez twice. He let up four hits and two runs, throwing 71 pitches. Price, last year's first overall pick, will make his professional debut Thursday for Single-A Vero Beach.
I can't imagine many things making you feel better than striking out ARod twice before debuting as a professional.

Chance, yea, but he is going to have to have a Lincecum type of year the next few months. I imagine he stays in the minors all year, and then is given a chance to win a job next year in ST.

No...I really doubt that. e just came off of surgeory, they have an abundance of pitchig already, and he's REALLY young. I'd expect an 09 Call up, or late 08.

What?
What surgery did Price just have?
As far as age, he is the same age this year as Lincecum was last year in his first year in the minors.
And if you expect a 09 call up or late 08 call up, how is that any different then what I said.
