Honestly though, I've never been huge on Gio's numbers even in the minors. He always seemed like a 2nd tier pitching prospect... His K's are nice, but he just gives up too many runs for my liking.

IMO, Gio will be excellent, but won't be great in the majors for another two to three years or so. He'll be the Marcum/ James Shields of 2011. And that's a long way off.
He may not have the control necessary to make it, though.
