3 for Werth

After the last 2 games, I think Werth should only be started against LHP. If your in a daily leage and have the roster room, this should give you great numbers.

As a note: here are the Phillies opposing pitchers for the next week
Monday - Redding (R)
Tuesday - Bergmann (R)
Wednesday - Shawn Hill (R)
Thurs - Roy Oswalt (R)
Fri - Brandon Backe (R)
Saturday - Moeller (R)

All of these pitchers are righties.

Werth vs RHP: .254BA/.338OBP/.448SLG/.785OPS, 3HR, 9RBI in 67AB
Werth vs LHP: .321BA/.390OBP/.717SLG/1.107OPS, 6HR, 17RBI in 53AB

That pretty much tells you all you need to know. As some people have said you're better off playing him only vs LHP. He's not going to post the gaudy numbers some people are thinking if these splits are maintained because there just isn't as much LHP as RHP. He'll be useful for what he does, but some people are really getting ahead of themselves with predictions.
