anyways, i honestly thought giambi was done being helpful fantasy-wise a couple of years ago, so no one is more surprised than me, and more skeptical. but he sure looks locked in now. the numbers you posted sure look attainable, as he is on a 40 hr pace. ride him while he's hot. as to how long it will continue? beats me
I've been loving Giambi. I'm surprised he doesn't get more attention around these parts. I play in an OPS league, so his .974 in the category is a nice bonus.

Maybe, but if so many players used it, whose plaque do you put it next to?
hmmm, maybe a display of all of the thongers, together with their mojomaker? And a note for the kids about the potential hazards of sharing underwear...
On draft day this season, if somebody had told me that the undrafted Jason Giambi would be my team leader in HRs in the middle of June, I'd have taken it as an egregious insult (especially having Fielder and Holliday), but doggone it, the Giambino has at least one more season in him as a legit power hitter.
I see 100/100 with 35 HRs and a .265 avg, something like a .950 OPS and I'm anxiously awaiting criticism of this projection.
If for some crazy reason, he hasn't been added in your league, go get him.
Picked him up the day Carlos Pena went on the DL, and enjoyed the 6 HR, 11 RBI, and 12 runs in two weeks. Since May 4, his BA has gone up from .150 to .268, his OBP from .317 to .403, and SLG from .375 to .595. He's slugging .818 in June.
