Radke or Harden? Who's better?

Postby WharfRat » Thu Feb 26, 2004 11:40 pm

Harden's a free agent, I have Radke. Should I pull the trigger?

Wouldn't it be nice to have a crystal ball for that one. I would go Harden.

Harden-his upside is too great not to take a chance on him.

I think you have to go with Harden. His stuff is nasty and he's got a great ballpark to pitch in.

Yeah I like Harden, too
think he's a good 10th rounder as a third pitcher?

EDIT: or maybe a 12 rounder after taking Wade Miller/Randy Wolf?

Go with harden. But remember that Radke went 9-1 after the break so he could have one of his best seasons in years. The key word here is could.

definitely go with Harden, he has a lot more upside. While I don't think he will be this year's Mark Prior, i do think he will be better than Radke.

Radke gets drafted because of his name, but in reality he is pretty washed up these days. He'll get a good pounding every now and then. I'd rather have my young pitcher get pounded than an old vet. You can chalk up a young player's poor performance to inexperience, but you will be running out of excuses for Radke.

If Harden doesn't turn out well for you, I'm sure Radke will be a free agent a month and a half into the season.
