Is anyone still high on this guy this year. I wasn't extremely high on him, but i thought he would atleast improve from last year. I am in a 10 team league and the other guys on the waiver wire are Burnett, Rich Hill, Danks, Lowe, Garza, Sonnanstine, Bannister, Francis, Greg Smith, Wolf, Guthrie, Daniel Cabrera, Edwin Jackson.
I just dumped him today. Hes been killing me. I have Danks and hes been pretty consistent. Edwin Jackson has just pitched 15 scoreless innings , has alot of upside and plays on a excellent hitting team. One of those two I take.
I drafted him thinking he would have a decent year and he's now been riding my bench for weeks. Big disappointment. I haven't dropped him yet because I'm hoping he'll turn it around (and I'd rather him not be on someone else's team when he does it) but not so sure he can do it at this point. I think if you can still get Danks or Jackson, you can drop him. If I could get Danks right now (already owned) I would...
I'd say hes probably only worth keeping if your in a deep league like me, and theres really not much more available. In fact, I'm trying to buy low on him, trading Chacon or Ffloyd. But in a 10 team league, he is likely to stay on waivers, and you can just keep an eye on him. Heres an interesting article that talks about BABIP, which mentions him, which I got from the Disabled List informer yesterday.
jack wilson coming back will help him...i don't know how many balls have gotten thru the left side because of rivas' immobility and inability to turn a DP..at this time last year snell's ERA was 2.38...i expect a decent turnaround

Is Snell worth dropping for any of these guys??
Yes, any of them. Cut and run before he costs you any more weeks.
