No, I wouldn't. I would if there were farms and he wasn't claimed. But the #6 WW will likely net you something perceived better in your current format.

In that format, your waiver claim is too valuable to use on Davis, unless it resets next year.

well mr. davis hit his first career major league homerun tonight. i highly doubt they will send davis back down once blalock is back. that would be a horrible move by the rangers organization.

It will depend on how he plays. If he continues to hit HR and create offense then I can't see Tex sending him back down. But if he continues to strike out 3 times for every 5 at bats and not doing much else. They won't hesitate to send him packing.

I would...I've got 5 guys above him who may or may not get the call this season (Wieters, Price, Snider, LaPorta, McCutchen) so he fits right in. You don't want to get stuck holding your waiver at the end of the season.

As long as you have the bench spot to burn when he mistakenly gets sent down...
