In Moss's debut with giants he got, well, he got plain hammerd. giving up six runs on seven hits in one-plus innings, the lowlight being a three-run, second-inning homer by Scott Hatteberg. and getting the loss.
"My mechanics were messed up," said Moss. "They were way off, like three or four inches, and I was coming around with my leg. It's not something you want to change when you're out there pitching"
"I'm not worried about it," he added. "Some things were game situations. But it can't get any worse. Normally I have a good feel for my changeup, I can throw it for strikes seven out of 10 times. But both it and my fastball stank."
