He has only gone 3 IP in his last 2 games. Are the Rays saving him for maybe a call up later this season to be used in the pen?

Niemann could very well be starting to put it all together. He has looked solid the last few outings. He could become a huge asset the remaining of the year whether it be as trade bait to improve the pen or even in the pen.

I would rather have him in the rotation than Sonny IMO. Def an upgrade in the pen as well
