The top 5 seem to be Prior, Pedro, RJ, Schilling and Halladay.
Personally, I'm staying away from RJ and Schilling due to age
and recent injuries. Any of the other 3 are no brainers in the
3rd round, what about the second ? I'm leaning to a draft strategy
of batters only for the first 3 rounds, but if these 3 are available
in the second round should I grab one? Again, 3rd round is a no
brainer.
I think Prior is a bargin anywhere after ARod, Pujols, Soriano, Vlad, and Beltran. So mid First. If you get him in the Second Round, its the Steal of the Draft
Pedro, Schilling are no-brainers in the second round
Halladay and Wood I would think about in the second, but it depends on where in the 2nd round you are and who is left and stuff like that.
RJ, I am staying away from but if he was available in the 4th I might take him.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis
Stewie : [watching a baseball game] Why does that man drop his club before he runs? I would bring it with me!

I'd take Helton before Prior too.
Was just gonna say that about Helton.... he rounds out the top 6 bats I'd take before Prior.
And in the 2nd, I'd take Sheff/Maggs/Manny/Nomar type hitter before touching any other SP
If Prior falls to the second round you are really lucky or your league sucks (most likely the latter). I would take Prior in the first round if the top 7 hitters (in any order) are gone.
Pedro/Schilling--I'd take Pedro 1st but those guys should be taken by midway throught he second round.
Halladay--End of 2nd round pick.
Big Unit--I would not even consider taking him in the second round. IMO Schmidt, Vasquez, Mussina, and Wood are all significantly better picks (but I'd wait till the third round for those guys.)
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
I drafted Prior with the #6 pick, which I think is pretty good. Also I drafted Josh Beckett in the 5th round which some would consider a steal and others would consider a terrible pick.
