Same thing I thought last week. Velocity getting up there but his balls are not moving like last year.
I would bet my life on it is is the air temp. I used to pitch and when the weather heats up, balls move more, atleast they did for me.
I was offered Daisuke for him yeterday, I hope I do not regret turning it down in the long run.

I just traded Oswalt for Verlander in a keeper league. I can't figure out what's going on with him, but I also can't imagine that he's not going to improve at some point. Oswalt's peak has come and gone, Verlander is still young and at least there is still hope there for improvement (or at least a repeat of his past couple of seasons).
The rest of my pitching staff has been pretty good, so I won't be relying on him for this season or as a keeper. I'm on pace to go over the innings limit, so I can also afford to have him sit on the bench for a while until he hopefully turns things around.
Given all of that I thought it was worth the risk.
