Bedard was injured for a few weeks and before last start, which was the second straight start against Texas in their launching pad of a stadium, he hadn't led up more than 2 ER in an outing. His K's are lacking but I'm sure he will be fine. He shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Verlander.
Bedard has been fine imo..but I am worried about Verlander. His velocity seems to be better now, but he's still getting hit. A lot of them seem to be cheap hits though, that Detroit defense is not too great
Seattle's D has been real bad too, but that hurts Felix more than Bedard.
I just traded Verlander for Beltran in my Dynasty...and they made the offer without me even offering any bait. I didn't figure i could get anything for him and wound up trading my 5th round "mistake" for a 1st-2nd round productive outfielder. Plus I still have Harang, Lee, Volquez, etc who were all far outperforming Justin. I just don't have a good feeling about him this year or going forward
Ohhh yeah. Verlander will have 20 losses and a 8.00 ERA this year if he's lucky! He sucks. Everyone should drop him. he's the worste fantasy player out there.
Since I just noticed a small tick on the needle in my sarcasm detector, I sense you are making an attempt at it. I wasn't going to give away Verlander, not even close, and he will improve on his numbers, but he also is exibiting more than a slow start. Even if Verlander was pitching well, I'd consider trading him for Beltran straight up...considering what i've seen so far, I just had to do it. And I hate the Mets
