Kind of reminds me of Carmona last year. I just sat and saw him on the wire but never did anything about Carmona until next thing I know, he had 10 wins.

he has a nice track record and progressed quickly through the minors... I dont know much about him though

I know he does not strike many out but having seen him in the bigs, he looks good to me, but todays start was against the A's.

not yet he's not. They sent Tyner down today to bring Sowers up for the start tomorrow. Westbrook is close to being back, but he's going to need a rehab start...Laffey or Sowers is going to get another start. No way of knowing who it's going to be yet, with Monday off next week they'll be flexible.
