What are the chances these guys hit near or over .300?

Can David Ortiz , Nick Markakis and Aramis Ramirez reach this average this year. Ortiz looks like he has found his stroke. I was hoping Markakis and Ramirez would be near or over .300 this year. If memory serves me correct Markakis and Ramirez are 2nd half players. Am I correct ?

You are correct and they all should see .300 or at least come very close to it. Markakis doesn't have the track record that Aram and Ortiz have, but he still has a good shot at it.

I really need them to come close at least. I am in a 14 team league and you can't get every guy to be solid unless you go hitter heavy early in your draft. Right now Johnny Peralta and Adam Laroche are hurting me in AVG. I have Andy Laroche on my bench. If he ever gets called up I will be set because I could sit Peralta and move Guillen to SS. I have a feeling Adam Laroche will start producing.

You're in a deep league if all you need is Andy Laroche to be "set"

I like all three of your guys in the thread topic to hit .300 though.

Maybe around .290 for Aramis
