20 team keeper league, my pitching stinks!

H2H 5x5 scoring, daily moves, keeper league with stable owners - I'll spare the arcane keeper rules (you keep a player in place of a draft pick according to the rules) and just * the players that I'd probably keep next year.

My offense is -stacked- for a 20 team keeper. Just trying to figure out where to sell high, where to cut corners, and how to get pitching. Currently am dangling all three 1Bs and Percival to see if I can land a few solid SPs (and hopefully at least one ace). I'm holding out hope that Perez gets back to last year's success (he was kept cheaply), but Pettitte and Bonser are -really- stinking. I'm not super attached to the bench guys (except Iannetta as my 2009 catcher - I'll probably trade Soto at year end as he'll be an expensive keeper), but there's -nothing- available on the waiver wire in terms of SPs. Even top notch RPs are gone.

I would trade Perez and one of your 1B preferbly Pena for a solid SP. You have Griffey that you could put at the UTL spot. Pretty solid team for a 20 teamer. Please help me out

I've dropped Balentien and picked up Glen Perkins and Aaron Laffey :shrug:

Current talks I have going that -might- pay off are Gonzalez for Chris Young (pitcher) and Shaun Marcum or Gonzalez+Percival for Webb. I think I'd end up on the good side of both of these, but the two players I'm dealing with have crap at 1B and solid pitching. I might end up dealing Berkman in a deal for an Ace also (Webb/Johan type). I could get Rollins+Putz+ for Jeter+Berkman (open-ended trade offer), but I feel like I'd be overpaying. Rollins is a definite keeper, but I can only keep one of Rollins or ARod unless I can get a 2009 1st round pick off someone (not likely).

Pena doesn't have great trade value right now (I just bought him low ), and I'm sitting on Perez, but I feel like I'll have a great team if I can get an ace and a #2.
