Of course I didn't pay attention and had Meyers active today, god he is garbage. Luckily I have about 5 or 6 solid starts still left to even out this mini implosion. I'm getting ready to unload this guy for Danks as well

I have allowed this guy to burn me 3 years in a row. My own stupidity - believing rankings vs. personal experience. I too lost all confidence in him, especially when I saw the reports about him losing his velocity on the fastball. Of course, I benched him right before his 10K performance two or three starts ago. His potential for high K's and W's on the Philly squad was appealing, but appear to only be a myth. Last I checked, you had to at least make it through 5 IP and be ahead to get the W. Used a high draft pick on him like most others and finally cut bait.

With an innings pitched limit, I guess I can just slot Myers in for instant bench except against the worst offenses right now... Between him and Penny right now my rotation of Kazmir, Oswalt, Vazquez and Wainwright is highly questionable...

Chalk another owner up for kicking himself by believing in the 10K game by starting Myers @ Arizona against Webb...then planning on benching him against the Braves, but Myers HAD great home splits so I gave him one more chance...he will now be regulated to my bench until further notice...side note, my pitching was TERRIBLE yesterday between Myers, Mota blowing the save, and then Scot Shields giving up 4 ER w/o getting an out...sorry about the tangent...

I still believe that a strikeout pitcher on a solid team in Philly is too good to drop unless you are in a shallow league...I'm planning on trying to get Myers on the cheap in my deeper leagues...

I'm benching him until he pitches two good games in a row. I can't drop him because his 48ks tell me he may come around. If he doesn't continue to throw directly into the wheelhouse, that is.

I just dumped him for Lilly (surprised he was a FA). I have ZERO faith in starting him (even if he strung together two solid starts I'd be weary), so there's no point in letting him fill up a bench spot.
