I actually three-putted after putting off the green once in my round. I hit my tee shot to about 35-feet on a par 3, and pushed it past, it caught a slope and rolled about 14 feet away on the fringe. Then I had a difficult two-putt coming uphill coming back. Almost doubled it after hitting the green in reg !+)

I have to post because I had a first today...

I finally broke 90 8-o

I've been shooting in the 90's all Summer and a couple of weeks ago I shot a 90 and then a 91 on back to back rounds. Ever since then I've been determined to break 90. I shot a couple rounds in the mid to high 90's and I also had a stinker (103 %-6

) mixed in. Today, I had it going on and I even survived with a triple bogey and a quadruple bogey to shoot an 89 (44 front and 45 back).

Just got back from a trip to Port Huron. Hadn't played for a couple months and the rust showed. Today I ended up with a 106, which was an improvement over Friday and Saturday. It was for the most part horrible, but I managed to get a couple birdies. All I need is to mix in a birdie here and there along with some 300 yard fairway drives to make me forget about the other 300 horrible shots I took. A selective short memory is key.

went on a golf trip down to Iowa this weekend.. an annual tournament that I have with 9 of my buddies from high school. this year was our 10th year of the event, which I've never won but been close a couple times..

got out there at about 8 o'clock and hit the range early before out 10 am tee time. I went out in 45, which I was pretty happy with and was 3 strokes off the lead at that point. not too sure what happened at this point. some sort of combination of fatigue from being up drinking until 4 am, fatigue from taking too many swings at the range and number of beers consumed on the front nine, but completely fell apart on the back and came in with an epic 62 8-o

total of 107.... ugh.. adn it all started out so well..

Had the round of my life last week 75. Not sure when the next time I do that will be. It was at the Kingsmill Resort in Virginia (they have played the Michelob Ultra Open there on the River course a few times). If you live on the East Coast or near Virginia I would definitely recommend it. There are three great courses there ;-D
