kershaw hype thread

Postby Yoda » Wed May 14, 2008 12:19 pm

Another great write up at THT. Looks like they are going with other options this weekend instead of calling up Kershaw. I still have June 1 as his arrival date as I don't believe Schmidt will make it back and the other options are relatively weak.

You forgot to say WHIR.

Good read, Yoda, but I'm glad Kershaw won't be called up this week and I'm actually hoping for an early to mid July callup. Wouldn't be too surprised if he gets the call next month though.

How come Kershaw doesn't have SP/RP/P/1B/SS eligibility?

That is a great read from THT, as was the series they did on the anatomy of a fastball. Can't imagine Kershaw developing that change-up.. :-°

to be fair, he does have P/2B/3B/C/OF eligibility. nothing wrong with that :-)

i heard that once an umpire didnt call a pitch kershaws way, so he threw a fastball with his next pitch through the umps bedroom window, 372 miles away.

The one thing I never understood about WHIR is that why in the world would I want help from a guy who can't solve his own problems?

Exactly, nothing against them but it's basically the blind leading the blind over there.
