Another great write up at
THT. Looks like they are going with other options this weekend instead of calling up Kershaw. I still have June 1 as his arrival date as I don't believe Schmidt will make it back and the other options are relatively weak.

You forgot to say WHIR.
Good read, Yoda, but I'm glad Kershaw won't be called up this week and I'm actually hoping for an early to mid July callup. Wouldn't be too surprised if he gets the call next month though.

How come Kershaw doesn't have SP/RP/P/1B/SS eligibility?
That is a great read from THT, as was the series they did on the anatomy of a fastball. Can't imagine Kershaw developing that change-up..

...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

to be fair, he does have P/2B/3B/C/OF eligibility. nothing wrong with that
i heard that once an umpire didnt call a pitch kershaws way, so he threw a fastball with his next pitch through the umps bedroom window, 372 miles away.

Exactly, nothing against them but it's basically the blind leading the blind over there.
