What round are you all seeing Carl Crawford go in this years drafts?

The funny thing about Crawford is this. Everyone says he is going way to high. in a 10 team H2H league, with 24 roster spots, he went undrafted. I picked him up because you might as well. Tampa players seem to get overlooked except Huff no matter what the potential.

In H2H scoring Crawford isn't that valuable, so it makes sense that he went undrafted. In roto scoring his SB make him valuable and in 12 team leagues I see him going anywhere between round 8-10.

He is valuable in 5x5 HTH or a points league that values steals over homers. However, in most HTH leagues (points leagues that value HR over SB and 10x10s) he loses value because he only produces in a few categories.

Granted he's not as valuable as big home run hitters, but figure 60+ singles or walks that he has turn into an additional point score. Add on the fact that he should get a lot of runs because of that and I think he's fairly decent even for h2h.

Where would you guys rank him in a h2h that scores stolen bases as 2 points and homers as 4?

In the points league he's not nearly as valuable because of the scoring system. Mabey worth a later round look.

Still not sure if I totally agree. In my h2h points league last year Juan Pierre was the 34th highest point scorer amongst batters. I think that's pretty decent for any batter. If Crawford scores similar to what Pierre did last year, then I think he's going to be good even in a h2h points league. Just my 2 cents.

I took Crawford 140th overall in a 10 team league, a huge steal if you ask me.
